Pinto Natural Gas Open Season
Non-Binding Open Season Begins November 2, 2026
Pinto Energy Partners announced a non-binding open season for natural gas storage on the Companyʼs Fee acreage at Stratton Ridge Dome in Brazoria County, Texas. Pinto is soliciting interest via non-binding bids for storage capacity at a Greenfield cavern storage facility anticipated to offer service in Q2 2030, with subsequent caverns coming into service every 30 months thereafter.
The facility may provide storage service for shippers utilizing the Freeport LNG Header, as well as the Enbridge BIG pipeline, Boardwalk Coastal Bend Pipeline, KM Tejas Pipeline and Targa pipeline, all located immediately east of Clute, Texas at or near the terminus of the Freeport LNG Header.
Pinto Energy Partners has been granted a permit by the Railroad Commission of Texas to construct caverns for gas storage under intrastate regulation with a FERC 311 filing based on customer interest.

Project Design
Pinto has dedicated four cavern locations for intrastate natural gas storage. The initial design calls for one shallow casing seat cavern designed to maximize injection capacity at the site and two deeper casing seat caverns optimizing withdrawals totaling 22 Bcf of working gas capacity.
The fourth location is to preserve the long term growth opportunity for this location.
Total Injection and withdrawal volumes have been designed around maximum injection rates utilizing electric drive compression of 1,400,000 mcf/d, matched to withdrawal rates in excess of 2,500,000 mcf/d from three caverns.
Open Season results will further refine facility design, interconnection design, as well as final cavern working gas volume.
The Open Season is open from November 2, 2026 until close-of-business November 25, 2026.
